Ariana joined Apt in 2020 after graduating from Edinburgh as best graduating student and finalist of the RIAS Rowand Anderson Silver Medal for Best Scottish Student.
Previously, she has worked at Gruff Architects and Rick Mather Architects on a range of projects across a variety of building scales and complexities. Much of her experience lies in working within conservation areas to develop new and existing structures harmoniously from concept design, to internal fit outs, to delivery on site.
Ariana gained valuable experience working on the delivery of the Grade II* Listed Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn. The project combined a new state-of the art education facility and extension to the oldest law library in London with conservation, restoration and modernising works to the existing building, of which she was responsible.
Ariana has strong skills in coordination and communication as well as a proactive and ambitious approach to design with particular interest in the revitalisation of existing buildings. She is currently working on the refurbishment of Waterman House in Holborn, a former office being transformed into a boutique hotel to reflect and restore the buildings rich history.
