A tour of the emerging building, including presentation of the concept and design of the 300,000 sq.ft office development, was given by Apt Project Leader James Ewen. Visitors included Mapletree’s Head of UK Paul Bailey and Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Minister for COP 26, The Rt Hon Alok Sharma MP.

The ceremonial topping out was celebrated by planting a tree on the roof of the building overlooking the wider Green Park masterplan, before planting a second tree and unveiling a commemorative plaque in the site’s landscape, with the assistance of local school children.

The two buildings, which feature glass and terracotta facades, have been designed to a BREEAM 'Excellent' Rating and Well Building Standard® 'Gold Certification' and are due to be completed in 2020.
