'Urbanest City' is a distinctive, mixed-use building which will create a new destination within the City of London. At its heart lies a triple-height public exhibition space housing a preserved section of the original Roman London City Wall. Above the Roman Wall, the building provides student housing, office space, incubator office space for start-up companies and a café to complement the exhibition space, as well as a new route across the site.
The development includes Luminary London, a contemporary workspace, set to complete first, in 2021. Set over 11 floors it will provide 49,000 sq.ft of space with fantastic views of the City.

In recent weeks, the barrel vault cladding at the gable ends of the building has been installed and completes the building’s distinctive silhouette.
Kasia Ziolkowska, Senior Project Architect at Apt, said: “It is exciting to see the building reach its final form and to experience the special spaces generated by the unique geometry.”
