Architecture is about the understanding of the world and turning it into a more meaningful and humane place.

The architectural growth of Aleksandra’s hometown, Gdansk, inspired her to develop in the field and begin her education at Cardiff University, where she completed both her Part I and II by exploring architecture focusing on creating quality interventions bringing positive change.
During her studies, Aleksandra worked on various social, economic, and environmental projects, developing a strong belief in working within and contributing to existing contexts. These ideas culminated in her master thesis, which reimagined a disused gasworks site in Cardiff as a Green Prescription Centre by exploring interconnectedness and building dependencies between the environment, architecture, and users to create additional value in the area.
Before joining Apt in 2024, her previous professional experience included participation in the Low Carbon Build Environment research project, which investigated more sustainable building methods, and her Part I role at a practice in Bath, where she expanded her knowledge on conservation areas and heritage architecture.
Outside work, her interests include solving logical exercises, skiing, keeping up with the latest movies, and exploring new places.
