Originally from the flat terrains of Norwich, Isabel moved to London, where she completed her undergraduate studies at Central Saint Martins before joining Apt as a Part I Architectural Assistant.
Since completing her postgraduate studies at the University of Westminster, she has returned to the studio, this time as a Part II Architectural Assistant. During her studies, Isabel developed an interest in projects of an interdisciplinary nature as well as the celebration of 'the infraordinary'; the unnoticed or seemingly mundane aspects of life which carry more value and intrigue than we might expect. Her master's thesis focused on encouraging re-use and borrowing through the celebration and curation of everyday objects, as well as further 'curation' of emerging re-wilding narratives of the site. Throughout her studies, she has also participated in several live one-on-one projects, the most recent being 'Our Canopy' at Clitterhouse Farm's community hub in Brent Cross, 2025.
Outside the studio, Isabel appreciates a scenic walk out of London, looking at interesting knick-knacks and enjoying nostalgic childhood snacks.
