The city is a collection of individual stories.”
Sarah joined Apt in June 2026 as an Architect, bringing experience across large-scale residential and mixed-use projects spanning all RIBA stages. Originally from Dublin, she completed her Master's degree in Architecture in UCD, where her academic work focused on collaborative, community-led housing design and urban retrofit, reflecting her longstanding interest in socially responsive architecture.
Before joining Apt, Sarah gained commercial sector experience at RKD in Dublin before moving to Edinburgh, where she spent two and a half years with Fletcher Joseph. There, she played a key role in the delivery of a large scale student accommodation scheme in Birmingham, working across RIBA Stages 2–5. Sarah completed her Part 3 qualification with Newcastle University, graduating with distinction, and became a qualified architect in September 2025.
At Apt, Sarah brings a strong interest in social architecture and the ways in which the built environment can respond to the evolving needs of our cities and communities. She enjoys developing well-resolved architectural solutions through technical detailing and multidisciplinary design coordination, recognising the important role these processes play in delivering inclusive, adaptable and enduring places.
Outside the studio, Sarah enjoys exploring London's neighbourhoods, discovering new local spots, and going for runs in her local park.
