Architecture is an act of optimistic social transformation that builds social well-being”
Victor’s path into architecture has taken him from housing and community-focused projects across Latin America to housing-led and mixed-use schemes in the UK, building a layered understanding of how people live, and how cities grow in different contexts.
Originally from Colombia and now based in London, his experience working with international teams has deepened a curiosity about how culture, regulation and construction traditions shape the way buildings are conceived, communicated and ultimately delivered.
Before joining Apt, Victor gained experience within UK practice environments, working on housing-led and refurbishment projects with an emphasis on detail and buildability. Drawing on his background in Latin America and life in London, he is motivated by questions of place, identity and culture and how architecture can balance character and long-term sustainability.
Outside the studio, Victor enjoys painting and sketching cityscapes, playing music, and exploring London’s concerts, galleries and diverse food culture.
