Beth joined Apt in 2024, bringing industry experience from various projects, including residential, care homes, community, and healthcare design, spanning from Borneo to North Yorkshire and London.
During her time at Edinburgh and Newcastle University, she crafted her love and developed her knowledge of accessible design. Her thesis explored the rewriting of the building regulations to ensure a more creative, purposeful approach to accessibility in design. She also took part in voluntary projects, designing and building a community library space, where she enjoyed the workshops.
When she’s not working away at the stairs on Hill House, she enjoys drawing – the odd life drawing class and a dip in the sea to acclimatise her for her open water swims.
