Born in Coventry, a city bustling with energy, industry and construction. It was this environment, his parents' creativity and a set of coloured crayons that led to a declaration at an early age that architecture was the career for him.
Jason gained early career experience as Project Architect on the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, a £47m Arts Centre on the banks of the River Tyne. This experience proved formative in his development as an architect as well as nurturing a number of lasting friendships with artists and individuals from within the art world.
During Jason’s career he has worked at Stanton Williams and YRM, before joining Apt in 2011. At Apt, Jason is a Studio Leader, and member of the Board and has been instrumental in the development and growth of the practice.
Jason has an innate curiosity and is a keen traveller, having explored the wilds of landscapes as diverse as Alaska, Bolivia and Nepal. He has taught extensively in both the UK and abroad and is an active member of the London Arts scene.
