Nat joined Apt in 2010 after developing his career at Elder & Cannon, Faulkner Browns, and JM Architects, where he gained significant experience across several sectors, including residential, mixed-use, and education.
Nat is an Apt director who has been responsible for leading the team on some of the studio’s most important projects through complex planning and construction phases, including the award-winning One New Street Square in the City of London.
He has been responsible for successful planning applications for The Northern Civic Quarter, Leeds, a mixed-use Masterplan including the redevelopment of a number of Listed Buildings, as well as Urbanest City, mixed-use building in the City of London that includes Student Accommodation, Commercial Office, Incubator Office, Retail and a Public Exhibition Space. More recently Nat has led on Hill House, a high profile, sustainable and healthy workplace for the future as well as our expanding folio in the DC sector.
Nat’s passion for architecture lies in its relationship with people, from the inspiring collaboration with those who design and make it to the experiences of those who occupy and animate it.
