Rachael studied for her Part I in her home city of Liverpool before moving to London in 2012 to complete her Part II and III at London South Bank University and Westminster University. Her thesis project was urban focused, research led and based in Beirut, Lebanon. Here, she partnered with students from the American University of Beirut and studied the city’s fascinating urban grain and rich history across several years and trips.
Rachael has worked in numerous small and medium sized practice on projects of varying scales across London and the UK across a range of sectors including residential, office, student and masterplans working on both new and existing buildings across all the RIBA work stages of values up to £250M.
Following this, Rachael moved to a smaller practice and worked on a Cat A office refurbishment extension in Westminster, joining Apt in 2020. At Apt she is working on 2 Trafalgar Way which is set to be the tallest residential Passivhaus project in Europe.
In her spare time, Rachael enjoys visiting exhibitions, trips to new places, snowsports, running and Muay Thai boxing at her fight gym.
