Ross joined Apt in 2022 having developed an extensive portfolio of complex, high density, residential/mixed use schemes within London and the surrounding areas. He strives to produce successful places that not only deliver engaging architecture but those that have a contextual identity and provide the tools to foster a sense of community through design. 

At Apt Ross has been responsible for leading the design team on Hill House in the City of London. The proposals retain almost 60% of the existing structure and create a sustainable and healthy workplace for the future with access to landscaped terraces at every level. A vibrant mix of uses are created at ground floor including a new and improved home for the Shoe Lane Library.   

At a previous practice Ross led the design team on the award-winning, modular Lewisham Exchange which comprises two towers at 35 and 20 storeys housing both student accommodation and affordable housing. This sparked a keen interest in volumetric modular construction and how this can revolutionise the construction industry and address the need for high-quality housing delivered at pace, while reducing waste.   

When not at his desk Ross is out on two wheels in the Kent hills or racing at Hog Hill.
