Stephane is a Director interested in complex projects where his sensitivity for the existing building is maintained in tandem with contemporary design interventions and full interior design experience.
Since the creation of the Apt, he has been responsible for some of its most notable luxurious residential and commercial projects, including a few listed houses in Mayfair, private offices in Soho, Chapter House in Covent Garden, several of the buildings of Merchant Square Masterplan including the 3 Merchant Square penthouses, Park House Residential on Oxford Street. He also designed Apt’s studio, creating a flexible, welcoming and textured working environment. Outside London, he has designed and delivered a 504 room new built student accommodation in Coventry.
Recently, he secured planning for a 90-room Co-Living scheme in Walthamstow Forest, Aston Grange and worked on a private member’s club in Mayfair and a private beach house in West Wittering. He is currently working on a high-quality residential scheme in St John’s Wood, London, the interiors of a later living scheme in Henley, full refurbishment and restoration of two privately listed houses with associated mews houses in Mayfair and the redesign of the commercial main entrance of Parkhouse Mayfair.
Stephane joined Apt in 2010 after developing his career as a founding partner at BBPS in France and then Hamiltons Architects in London, where he developed a wealth of experience across all stages in the design process and scales of projects.
